Primary Care & Functional Medicine

IV Room

Primary Care

Primary care refers to the day-to-day health care that you receive from our general healthcare providers; Doctor, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant.

Our primary care provider (PCP) is usually the first point of contact you will interact with when needing medical attention. They are responsible for managing your overall health, offering preventive care, diagnosing and treating common illnesses or injuries, managing chronic conditions, and coordinating any necessary specialist referrals if needed.

Our primary care services often include routine check-ups, health screenings, and management of conditions like diabetes or hypertension. The goal is to keep you healthy and address concerns early before they become more serious.

Do you have a primary care provider? If not, we'd love to be part of our healthcare team.

Functional Medicine

Functional medicine is an approach to healthcare that focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of disease, rather than just treating symptoms.
It takes a whole person, patient-centered approach and looks at the body as an interconnected system, rather than isolating different parts or organs. Our goal is to understand the unique genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors that contribute to your health issues and then work toward restoring balance and optimal functioning.
Our functional medicine practitioners often take a detailed personal health history, run specialized lab tests, and consider a wide range of factors like diet, stress levels, sleep patterns, exercise, and environmental toxins when diagnosing and treating conditions. The idea is to tailor treatments to the individual rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.
Our treatment may include lifestyle changes (like diet and exercise), supplements, stress management techniques, or alternative therapies. It’s often used for chronic conditions like autoimmune disorders, fatigue, digestive issues, and hormonal imbalances, where conventional medicine might only address symptoms.
If you've been wanting to address those nagging health issues, call or stop by to have a consultation with our functional medical team.
